Duration of Procedure & Action: Quick and efficient – usually just 30 minutes. You’ll see instant results, with a lasting effect ranging from 6 months to 18 months, depending on the filler and the area treated.
Preparation: Avoid alcohol, NSAIDS, omegas, Vitamin C and blood-thinners for at least 24 hours before your appointment. We’ll chat with you during your consultation to choose the perfect filler for you!
Aftercare: Apply some ice if you notice swelling or redness. Swelling is especially prominent in lip filler treatments so plan well. Bruising is also always a possibility when working with needles – no matter how small. Avoid massaging the treated area and lay low on strenuous activities for 24-48 hours. Results will settle in over the next couple of weeks!
PLLA Treatments (Sculptra or Hyamax PLLA with HA)
For Collagen that Lasts
Function: If you’re looking to rebuild volume and collagen over time, Sculptra is your go-to treatment. It works deep in the skin to stimulate collagen production, which means natural-looking volume restoration that lasts! Add some hyaluronic acid with the new Hyamax PLLA with added HA for that instant burst of moisture.
Procedure: Using a cannula (blunt tip needle) through one to two entry points, the product is strategically placed into the skin in the posterior lifting areas of the face (temple, zygomatic area, pre-auricular and angle of the jaw). The process might take a little longer than fillers, but it’s worth it for the slow, lasting transformation.
Duration of Procedure & Action: Each session lasts about 30-45 minutes. Results are gradual, with noticeable improvements in 6 - 12 weeks, and can last up to 2 and a half years! The rule of decades applies to this specific biostimulator meaning you can do one session for every decade of your age. This can be done over time, however this is something you can discuss with your medical practitioner.
Preparation: We recommend avoiding alcohol, NSAIDS, omegas, Vitamin C and blood thinners before your appointment to minimize bruising. No other heavy prep needed, though we’ll have a thorough consultation to discuss your goals.
Aftercare: Post-treatment massage is key – we’ll guide you on how to do it! Take it easy for a couple of days, avoiding sun exposure and excessive heat. You’ll see the magic unfold over the next few months!
Profhilo or Hyavital

Super Hydra
